解讀2015世界大學(xué)排名榜
荷蘭萊頓大學(xué)CWTS發(fā)布的2015世界大學(xué)排名，將重點關(guān)注在全球750所主要大學(xué)的學(xué)術(shù)表現(xiàn)上。一套復(fù)雜的文獻計量指標(biāo)提供了統(tǒng)計的各大學(xué)在學(xué)術(shù)上的影響力以及參與科學(xué)合作情況的數(shù)據(jù)。萊頓大學(xué)CWTS2015排行榜是基于2010-2013年Web of Science論文引用數(shù)據(jù)。

Compared with other university rankings, the Leiden Ranking offers more advanced indicators of scientific impact and collaboration and uses a more transparent methodology. It does not rely on highly subjective data obtained from reputational surveys or on data provided by universities themselves. Also, the Leiden Ranking refrains from aggregating different dimensions of university performance into a single overall indicator.
相比于其它大學(xué)排名法，萊頓大學(xué)排名展現(xiàn)了更先進的科學(xué)影響力及學(xué)術(shù)合作指標(biāo)，并用了更簡單易懂的研究方法。它不依賴于高度主觀的聲譽調(diào)查所得到的數(shù)據(jù)，也不基于大學(xué)自身提供的數(shù)據(jù)。此外,萊頓大學(xué)排名將各大學(xué)不同維度的表現(xiàn)，聚合成一個單一的整體指標(biāo)。

2.新的突破和特征
Compared with the 2014 edition of the Leiden Ranking, the 2015 edition includes a number of enhancements. First of all, the 2015 edition offers the possibility to perform trend analyses. Bibliometric statistics are available not only for the period 2010 2013 but also for earlier periods. Second, the 2015 edition of the Leiden Ranking provides new impact indicators based on counting publications that belong to the top 1% or top 50% of their field.
相比于2014年的萊頓大學(xué)排名，2015版本實現(xiàn)了很多提高。首先，2015版提供了進行趨勢分析的可能性。文獻計量統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)不僅參考2010 - 2013年，也基于更早的時期。第二，萊頓大學(xué)2015排名基于各領(lǐng)域前1%或50%的大量出版物，提供了新的影響力判斷指標(biāo)。
