比較級(jí)形容詞或副詞 + than
You are taller than I.
They lights in your room are as bright as those in mine.
注意：
1)要避免重復(fù)使用比較級(jí)。
(錯(cuò)) He is more cleverer than his brother.
(對(duì)) He is more clever than his brother. (對(duì)) He is clever than his brother.
2)要避免將主語含在比較對(duì)象中。
(錯(cuò)) China is larger that any country in Asia.
(對(duì)) China is larger than any other countries in Asia.
3)要注意對(duì)應(yīng)句型，遵循前后一致的原則。
The population of Shanghai is larger than that of Beijing.
It is easier to make a plan than to carry it out.
4)要注意冠詞的使用，后有名詞的時(shí)候，前面才有可能有名詞。
比較：Which is large, Canada or Australia?
Which is the larger country, Canada or Australia?
She is taller than her two sisters.
She is the taller of the two sisters.
可修飾比較級(jí)的詞
1)a bit, a little, rather, much, far, by far, many, a lot, lots, a great deal, any, still, even等
2)還可以用表示倍數(shù)的詞或度量名詞作修飾語。
3)以上詞(除by far)外，必須置于比較級(jí)形容詞或副詞的前面。
和more有關(guān)的詞組
1) the more… the more… 越……就越……
The harder you work，the greater progress youll make.
2) more B than A 與其說A不如說B
less A than B
He is more lazy than slow at his work.= He is less slow than lazy at his work.
3) no more… than… 與……一樣……，不比……多
The officials could see no more than the Emperor.
no less… than… 與……一樣……
He is no less diligent than you.
4) more than 不只是，非常
She is more than kind to us all.
一些容易混淆的介詞
1.表示時(shí)間的at、on、in的用法區(qū)別
at主要表示：
(1)在某具體時(shí)刻之前，如at seven o’ clock，at 7：30。
(2)在固定短語中，如：at noon，at night，at that time，at the age of at the weekend，at Christmas。
On用來表示“在……天”，如：On Monday，On May lst，On Children’s Day。
in用來表示：
(1)在某年、某月、某季節(jié)。
(2)在—段時(shí)間之后，如：in two hours，in a few days。
注意：在純粹地表示在上午/下午/晚上時(shí)，用in the morning/afternoon/evening，但在某一天的上午、下午、晚上前要用介詞on。如：on Monday morning，on the morning of Children’ s Day。
2. 表示地點(diǎn)的at，in，on的用法區(qū)別
(1) at通常指小地方，in一般指大地方。
(2) at 所指范圍不太明確，in指“在……里”。
(3) in指在內(nèi)部，on指“在……之上”。
3.表示“一段時(shí)間”的for與since的用法區(qū)別
for后面接時(shí)間段，since之后接時(shí)間點(diǎn)。

全國(guó)英語一級(jí)考試（PETS）注意事項(xiàng)：
1、報(bào)名時(shí)，考生通過填寫“報(bào)名卡”或以其他形式向報(bào)考點(diǎn)上報(bào)相關(guān)個(gè)人信息，并按照規(guī)定完成各項(xiàng)手續(xù)，根據(jù)報(bào)考點(diǎn)提供的時(shí)間和地點(diǎn)領(lǐng)取“準(zhǔn)考證”和“考試通知單”，認(rèn)真檢查相關(guān)證件上的個(gè)人信息是否準(zhǔn)確。
2、在開考的前一天，參考人員最好提前到“考試通知單”上安排的考點(diǎn)熟悉考場(chǎng)。
3、開考前，考生應(yīng)提前準(zhǔn)備好考試專用的黑色簽字筆和2B鉛筆。
4、考試過程中，考生要嚴(yán)格遵守“考生守則”、聽從監(jiān)考人員的安排，若有違反，考試成績(jī)將會(huì)被取消。
5、PETS 1B至PETS 4等五個(gè)級(jí)別的考試具體報(bào)名地點(diǎn)由當(dāng)?shù)厥 ⑹�、自治區(qū)、直轄市的教育考試院或教育考試機(jī)構(gòu)決定，這五個(gè)級(jí)別以上的考試具體報(bào)名地點(diǎn)在全國(guó)各WSK考點(diǎn)。
6、PETS考試是不受地域限制的，考生可以跨省跨地區(qū)參加考試。
7、考生要注意時(shí)間，嚴(yán)格按照規(guī)定時(shí)間參加考試。筆試從上午8:30開始進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)，上午8:45之后不得入場(chǎng)。口語考試分上午下午兩堂。上午的考試從上午8:30開始進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)，9：00后不得入場(chǎng)，下午的考試從下午13:30開始進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)，下午14:00后不得入場(chǎng)。
8、進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)時(shí)，考生要持“準(zhǔn)考證”、“考試通知單”、“身份證”（公安戶籍部門開具的臨時(shí)身份證件、能夠證明考生身份的證明亦可）或者護(hù)照、港澳臺(tái)地區(qū)的居民身份證等有效證件，三證齊全方可參加考試。
