2016年gmat考試閱讀精準(zhǔn)定位技巧

　　在gmat閱讀中，定位的技巧是非常重要的，所以在備考gmat閱讀的時候一定要注意訓(xùn)練回文定位的能力。

　　定位的基本思路是，研讀題干，確定題干中的關(guān)鍵詞，將關(guān)鍵詞帶入原文，忽略與題目要求無關(guān)的信息，迅速找到定位詞所在的地方，也就是答案可能出現(xiàn)的地方。

　　定位詞的選擇尤為重要。一般來說，人名、地名、機(jī)構(gòu)名之類的專有名詞，數(shù)詞，特殊印刷的字體，特殊的符號等都是常用的定位詞。它們形式穩(wěn)定，特征明顯，很容易被scanning到。

　　例如：

　　The passage suggest that the fact that ALH84001 has been on Earth for 13.000 years has been used by some scientists to support which of the following claims aboutALH84001?

　　比較特殊的詞匯有13,000和ALH84001。但是全篇都是在圍繞ALH84001在講述，所以選擇只出現(xiàn)過一次的13,000最合適，可以直接定位到文章第二段：

　　For example, ALH84001 has been on Earth for 13.000 years, suggesting to some scientists that its PAHs might have resulted from terrestrial contamination.

　　當(dāng)然，不是所有的題目都會有這種特征明顯的定位詞。那么在沒有這類詞匯的情況之下，往往需要選擇題干中相對比較穩(wěn)定的詞來作為定位詞，即實(shí)意名詞。

　　例如：

　　The passage suggests that the place of hypothalamic hormones in the hormonal hierarchies of animals is similar to the place of which of the following in plants?

　　這個題干中比較顯眼的詞是hypothalamic hormones，而且在文中也只出現(xiàn)了一次，于是可以很快定位到：

　　hormones from the hypothalamus in the brain stimulate the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland to synthesize and release many different hormones, one of which stimulates the release of hormones from the adrenal cortex.
