　　There is no doubt that environmental pollution and terrible housing

　　conditions contribute to poor health and lead to greater instances of sickness.

　　Nevertheless, government has an essential role to play in the eradication of

　　disease and ought to focus on improving the lives of their citizens.

　　【Body】

　　With regards to keeping the atmosphere clean, officials ought to decrease

　　the number of vehicles on the roads to reduce environmental pollution caused by

　　the discharge of contaminants. In terms of an industrial setting, authorities

　　must place reasonable restrictions on factory output in order to cleanse the air

　　and decrease atmospheric contamination. In the event that corporations fail to

　　adhere to these established regulations, they should be heavily penalized to

　　discourage this behaviour.

　　Housing plays a significant role in the well-being of citizens as they

　　spend most of their time in their living spaces. The addition of simple

　　facilities could increase the quality of housing including air conditioners and

　　heaters to regulate temperature to prevent catching a cold or sinks and showers

　　to wash away dirt. The materials used in the construction process may cause

　　asbestos poisoning or deteriorating conditions are associated with exposure to

　　lead, mold, dust mites and rodents. Furthermore, the prices of accommodation,

　　especially in large cities is extraordinarily costly, forcing employees to work

　　overtime and extra hours in order to afford housing.

　　Placing an emphasis on fixing these environmental and housing issues will

　　have a positive effect on members of society. It will lead to preventing the

　　spread of disease and slowly develop a higher standard of living for citizens,
