1. What is your favourite colour?
Well, I love vibrant colours, especially bright red. You know, clearly, red symbolizes good fortune and wealth in our culture, so Chinese normally dress in red during Lunar New Year. Moreover, the jacket in red really matches me well.
我喜歡有活力的顏色，尤其是亮紅色。很明顯，紅色在我們的文化中象征著好運(yùn)和財(cái)富，所以中國(guó)人一般在春節(jié)的時(shí)候都會(huì)穿紅色。而且，紅色外套也很配我。
2. Do you usually wear clothes in your favourite colour?
Yes, my favourite colours are black and white and I love wearing clothes in neutral colours because it can reflect my personality. Actually, I’ve seen some of the fashion magazines telling that monochromic shirt is the future fashion trend.
當(dāng)然，我最喜歡的顏色是黑色和白色，我喜歡穿那種中立色(無(wú)色彩)的衣服，因?yàn)檫@能體現(xiàn)我的性格。我最近看過(guò)一些時(shí)尚雜志說(shuō)純色的T恤是未來(lái)流行的趨勢(shì)。
3. Are there any colours that have a special meaning in your country?
Sure, Chinese people actually are quite superstitious. They put different meaning on colours, like for example, red, yellow and green are occasionally used for festivals in order to express their joyfulness and happiness. So, they normally combine these colours together to decorate their home and courtyard.
當(dāng)然。中國(guó)人其實(shí)很迷信的。中國(guó)人賦予顏色很多含義，比如紅色、黃色和綠色有時(shí)候會(huì)在節(jié)日中出現(xiàn)來(lái)表達(dá)人們的歡樂(lè)和幸福。所以中國(guó)人一般裝飾家和庭院的時(shí)候會(huì)把這幾種顏色結(jié)合在一起。
4. Do you think different types of people like different colours?
Sure, well, I think people in different personality will certainly affect their faourite colour, what I mean is, if they are sportive, outgoing with positive thinking, they’ll choose something like warm colours, you know like, red, orange and yellow, which tend to make you think of sunlight and warmth.
當(dāng)然，我覺(jué)得人的不同性格一定會(huì)影響到他們喜愛(ài)的顏色。如果他們是運(yùn)動(dòng)型的，外向且思維活躍，他們會(huì)選擇暖色，比如紅色、橘色和黃色，這能讓你想到陽(yáng)光與溫暖。
5. How important do you think colours are?
Well, I’d say, colour is a crucial ingredient in our daily life, especially when related to culture and religion. For instance, in Chinese culture, yellow signifies freedom from worldly cares and that’s why all monks’ garments are in yellow.
顏色一定是我們生活中的必備元素，尤其當(dāng)它和文化及信仰有關(guān)時(shí)。例如，在中國(guó)文化中，黃色代表從世俗中超脫的自在，而這也就是為什么所有僧人們的外衣都是黃顏色的。
附：如何度過(guò)口語(yǔ)變題期?
首先來(lái)看人物類，人物類一直屬于題庫(kù)中相對(duì)容易且好準(zhǔn)備的題目。所以其實(shí)必備題目并不多，建議大家人物類只要準(zhǔn)備好三個(gè)題目就沒(méi)有太大問(wèn)題，分別是describe an old person(描述一個(gè)老年人)，describe a teenager/friend(描述一個(gè)青少年或者朋友)以及describe a famous person(描述一個(gè)名人)。那么這三個(gè)題目如何應(yīng)用在口語(yǔ)題庫(kù)中的所有題目中，我們具體來(lái)看。題庫(kù)中現(xiàn)在在考得describe a person you want to spend time with，我們用老年人或者朋友都可以。Describe a comedy actor這一最近的熱門題目，我們就可以和名人結(jié)合。再比如讓我們描述一個(gè)鄰居，我們也完全可以和青少年或者老人題目結(jié)合。
地點(diǎn)題，建議大家必備類型為，describe a house/apartment(描述一個(gè)房子)，describe a city(描述一個(gè)城市)，describe a garden(描述一個(gè)花園)，describe a restaurant(描述一個(gè)餐廳)。選擇準(zhǔn)備的為describe a country(描述一個(gè)國(guó)家)。這一類題目通用性較強(qiáng)。例如，口語(yǔ)中以前考察的describe a room就可以由房子一題變過(guò)來(lái)。
再如，描述一個(gè)餐廳，描述一個(gè)購(gòu)物中心以及描述一個(gè)咖啡廳，整體內(nèi)容和結(jié)構(gòu)是類似的，都是描述在哪里，吃什么(賣什么，喝什么)，怎么知道的以及為什么喜歡。且喜歡的理由都可以類似，基本可以總結(jié)為1. Good service 2. Convenient location 3. Economical/ have a reasonable price 4. Comfortable environment and atmosphere等。描述花園一題，可以用于describe a peaceful place，describe a place near water甚至做一些改變，就可以用于describe a tourist attraction一題當(dāng)中。
