red tape: 繁文縟節(jié)，拖拉費(fèi)時的.繁瑣手續(xù)。
jot down: 草草寫下。
on the level: 誠實的，誠懇的。
have a clean nose: 形容人誠實真摯，沒有道德上的變差。
play with a clean deck: 形容某事或某過程是公正誠實，沒有貓膩。deck，一副牌。
