Akira: So, the first thing I’ll do is to give you a run down of the duties of the job. You main responsibilities will be to ensure that the reports are finished each week, make any adjustments that need to be made, and distribute them to each department. Is that clear so far?
男：好，我首先給你描述一下你的工作概況。你主要的職責(zé)是保證每周完成報(bào)告，對其進(jìn)行必要的調(diào)整，并將報(bào)告分發(fā)到各個(gè)部門。至此你大致清楚了嗎
Frances: Sure. That seems pretty straightforward. Who do I report to?
女：清楚了。這聽起來挺簡單的嗎。那么工作中我向誰報(bào)告呢
Akira: Your immediate supervisor is Ida Funck. We all work under her in this department. Okay, here’s the employee manual. Make sure you read it.
男：你的直接主管是豐克。我們部門中所有的人都向她報(bào)告。好，這是員工手冊。你一定去好好讀讀。
Frances: Great. Thanks. Now, when do I get a break?
女：好，謝謝。那么，我什么時(shí)候可以休息一會(huì)
Akira: A break? You’ve only been here a half an hour.
男：什么休息？你到這才工作了半個(gè)小時(shí)呀
Frances: Has it been that long? I need some coffee.
女：有這么長嗎？我想我需要點(diǎn)咖啡
Needless to say, it was a very, very long day.
不用說，這的工作對她而言一定會(huì)感覺得非常非常漫長。
