To Lie or not to Lie作文

　　“To Lie ornot to Lie” is hard to answer. As the saying goes “Everything has two coins”.In my opinion I think it depends on different situations.

　　Under some circumstance we need and must lie.For

　　example if our dear relatives friends and colleaguessuffered serious diseases we shall keep a secret and could lie to them inorder to make them be cheerful .If we do that they will have the courage todefeat the diseases rather than increase their conditions .This is called “WhiteLie”. In addition in some special cases we must lie .Facing with evildoers wecan’t tell the truth for our safety’s sake. We must fight with them not byforce but wisdom. It’s essential for us to lie in proper and special time.

　　In most time we shouldn’t lie. First ofall honesty is a good virtue for our Chinese. Everybody heard the story----CryWolf. The little shepherd lay to people several times just for fun. But whenwolves really came no one came to help. Only when we treat others with sincerityand honesty can we be treated in the same way. Secondly we should be honestin our work study and education and so on because it is the basic quality toa man. As the proverb goes“Justice has long arms”but“Lie has short legs”It proves that we shouldn’t lie in mostinstances.

　　“To Lie or not to Lie” doesn’t have onlyone answer. We can make a wise decision based on our right judgment.
