　　孫悟空，也稱為猴王(Monkey King)，是中國古典小說《西游記》(Journey to the West)中的一個主要角色。在小說中，猴王從一塊巖石中出生，通過道教髙人(Taoist master)的教授獲得了超自然的力量。他可以將自己變成七十二種不同的形象，還可以用筋斗云代步，一個筋斗(somersault)可以翻十萬八千里。孫悟空是中國文學歷史最悠久的人物之一。即使在今天他依然深受中國兒童的喜愛。
