六級(jí)詞匯講解：
本句的主干是...it must be noted that...其中，that引導(dǎo)的主語(yǔ)從句是形式主語(yǔ)it指代的真正主語(yǔ);for the sake of fairness為目的狀語(yǔ)。
for the sake of意為“為了……的利益或好處”。fairness意為“公平，公正”。

optimistic意為“樂(lè)觀的”。如：

Hardy has often been criticized for an excessively pessimistic view oflife.
