　　1) 認(rèn)真審題、構(gòu)思。

　　先分析題目所包含的內(nèi)容和信息，把握住出題者的意圖，確定文章屬于哪一種體裁，思考表達(dá)文體和寫作手法，將主題思想完美表達(dá)出來，然后仔細(xì)閱讀作文要求、提綱或其他相關(guān)內(nèi)容(如圖表、圖畫、數(shù)字說明等)，注意抓住題目和提綱中的關(guān)鍵詞及提綱要點之間的銜接和邏輯關(guān)系，進(jìn)一步考慮怎樣組織段落來突出主題。

　　2) 注意篇章結(jié)構(gòu)，合理布局。

　　盡管四級作文篇幅較短(120字左右)、內(nèi)容覆蓋面較窄，但畢竟是一篇完整的文章，這就要求考生們寫出的文章要結(jié)構(gòu)健全，給人以整體感;要篇中分段，且段落劃分得體，長短合理，一般以三、四段為宜。

　　開頭部分(Opening paragraph)即第一段，說出文中的要點、核心問題或?qū)ΜF(xiàn)象進(jìn)行描述。

　　主體部分(Body paragraphs)可用一段或兩段來寫，主要是圍繞主題展開敘述、討論。

　　結(jié)尾部分(Concluding paragraph)是對全文的總結(jié)和概括或表達(dá)自己的觀點。

　　寫好文章首尾段，同時要做到全文中心突出、段落之間有機地聯(lián)系，內(nèi)容完整、連貫、前后呼應(yīng)。

　　3) 收集材料, 支持主題句。

　　材料可以是事實、例證、親身經(jīng)歷、名人名言、諺語警句等。應(yīng)當(dāng)注意的是，所選材料要與文章的主題相符，即要"扣題"。同時要具有典型性，能充分說明問題。在有多個例證的段落中，還要注意各個例證之間的連貫性。

　　4)書寫要整齊、規(guī)范。

　　檢查單詞拼寫、大小寫、標(biāo)點符號以及文章的時態(tài)、語態(tài)和主謂一致，避免片斷句(fragment sentence)和不斷句(run-on sentence)。

　　Every new generation is different from the one that preceded it. Today the difference is very marked indeed.

　　Old people are always saying that the young are not what they were. The same comment is made from generation to generation and it is always true. It has never been truer than it is today. The young are better educated. They have a lot more money to spend and enjoy more freedom. They grow up quickly and are not so dependent on their parents. They think more of themselves and do not blindly accept the idea of their elders. Events which the older generation remembers vividly are nothing more than past history.

　　Just look at the teenage girls who scream hysterically over the pop stars and the teenage boys who copy the stars and grow their hair long and are no longer ashamed of wearing "pretty" clothes, are simply breaking through the Chinese traditional reserve and fear of showing their feelings. What is more, nowadays most boys and girls are good companions and some of them even fall in "puppy love." A lot of older people sigh and say, "we did not use to do like this."
