雅思寫作高手用詞方法介紹
詞匯是雅思考官評判考生寫作分數(shù)的重要參考標準之一，很多考生卻對其存在錯誤的觀念，即唯有使用長詞、難詞和大詞才能展現(xiàn)出自己的用詞水平。下面就和yjbys網(wǎng)小編一起來看看雅思寫作高手用詞方法吧!
實際上，通過閱讀劍橋雅思真題書的考官范文，我們不難發(fā)現(xiàn)，考官自己寫出來的文章我們基本上都能看懂，并未出現(xiàn)任何長難詞。因此，我們應(yīng)該糾正之前的錯誤觀點，了解真正的寫作高手寫出來的作文具備哪些用詞特點。
在這里，以7分的評分標準為例，考官對于7分作文的Lexical resource一項中明確表明：
1. uses a sufficient range of vocabulary;
2. uses less common lexical items;
3. may produce occasional errors in word choice， spelling and word formation.
下面為大家一一解讀。
1.Uses a sufficient range of vocabulary 即使用足夠廣泛的詞匯。
這里所說的廣泛一方面是指詞匯在使用的時候，不要太過單一。比如提到“人們”這個詞，考生多半只會寫people， 其實citizens， humans， individuals，the general public 都是對people很好的替換。
另一方面，考生應(yīng)該多積累寫作話題詞匯，比如在環(huán)境類話題的大作文中，如果能主動寫出environmental deterioration 環(huán)境惡化，energy crisis 能源危機，auto emissions 尾氣排放這些詞匯，相信足以體現(xiàn)出考生的詞匯水平之高。
2.Uses less common lexical items 即使用較不常見的詞匯。
需注意，這里所說的“較不常見”是針對外語學(xué)習(xí)者來說的，而不是針對native speaker的!很多外語學(xué)習(xí)者在寫作中習(xí)慣用自己母語的思維去進行翻譯，比如遵紀守法的公民，有同學(xué)會寫成people who obey the laws，而在地道的英文中應(yīng)表述為 law-abiding citizens。
再比如學(xué)習(xí)成績，有同學(xué)翻譯成 study scores ，而實際上應(yīng)該應(yīng)表述為 academic performance，這些詞匯很可能你都認識，但在寫作文時卻很少主動使用。因此，考官稱之為less common words。
3.may produce occasional errors in word choice， spelling and word formation 偶爾出現(xiàn)詞匯選擇、拼寫和構(gòu)詞的錯誤。
首先，單詞拼寫最能反映考生的英語基礎(chǔ)，6分以下的作文經(jīng)常拼錯的單詞有：nowadays， government， environment， advertisement， benefit等。
其次，詞匯選擇主要包含固定搭配，比如invest in 投資，provide sb. with sth. 給某人提供某物，reasons for… 某事物的原因等，學(xué)習(xí)知識被很多同學(xué)寫成learn knowledge，這也是不對的，應(yīng)該選擇increase， gain或者acquire 來表示“學(xué)習(xí)”。
而構(gòu)詞主要是指詞性的變化，比如technology - technological， science - scientific， economy - economic 等，instead of 也是被經(jīng)常用錯的一個詞組，很多考生認為這個詞是動詞"取代"。實際上，它是一個副詞短語，表示“而不是，并非”，相當(dāng)于 rather than。

4. Tourism contributes significantly to marry countries’ GNP( Gross National Product). The economy of some nations is based on the tourist industry. 旅游顯著促進GNP，很多國家依附于旅游業(yè)。
5. Tourism helps develop a nation’s commerce because tourists are most likely to buy souvenirs wherever they go. 旅游促進國家經(jīng)濟因為旅行者走到哪買到哪。
6. Tourism helps accelerate a city’s construction. 旅游促進城市的消費。
7. Contact with tourists from afar widens the horizon of the local people. 與遠道而來的游客交流有助于拓展當(dāng)?shù)厝说囊曇啊?/p>
8. Tourism provides jobs for many people and helps solve or ease the social problem of unemployment.旅游業(yè)為許多人提供了就業(yè)機會，有助于解決或緩解失業(yè)這一社會問題。
9. The tourist trade gives people a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the world and the wonders of mankind. 旅游業(yè)讓人們有機會欣賞世界上的美景和人類奇跡。
10. Tourism will help people learn about different cultures of the world. 旅游幫助人們了解世界上不同的文化。
