2015托福獨立寫作范文：紀念日

　　October 24 is Union Nations Day. This day is noted in the calendars, but not observed as a holiday around the world. I want the entire world to celebrate the birth of the United Nations because of its attempts to promote peace, education, and health around the world.

　　Peace is the most important thing that we can have today. The sooner that we can stop war the sooner we can all have better lives. There are countries around the world that have been at war for generations. In some of these countries, UN Peacekeepers have temporarily(暫時地;姑;一時半刻) stopped the violence so people can go about their lives. If this peace could be made lasting, the lives of these citizens would be much richer.

　　The UN actively works to promote education. Universal literacy(識字;有文化;能讀能寫;精通文學(xué))is one of its important goals. Every child in the world deserves to know how to read and write. The UN is also involved in job training for adults. The age of information technology demands new job skills. The UN works with continuing education programs around the world so workers are not left out of the job market.

　　The UN has played an instrumental role in the eradication of smallpox. Polio vaccines and AIDS-awareness programs have also helped reduce the incidence of these diseases. There is a lot to be done in these areas.

　　Much of the work of the UN is unknown and underappreciated(1、未得到正確評價的 2、未受到充分賞識的). If we want to live in a peaceful world, where every child can attend school and where every citizen has access to health care, we need to support the work of the UN. We need to recognize its importance and celebrate its birthday.

　　10月24日是國家聯(lián)盟的一天。指出在日歷的這一天,但未觀察到世界各地度假。我希望——世界是聯(lián)合國的誕生,因為它試圖促進和平,全世界的教育和健康。

　　和平是最重要的事情,我們會有今天。越早,我們可以停止戰(zhàn)爭越早我們都能有更好的床墊。有世界各國一直在戰(zhàn)爭爆發(fā)。在其中一些國家,聯(lián)合國維和部隊暫時(暫時gu,一會兒)停止暴力,人們可以對自己的床墊。如果這可以持久的和平,這些公民的床墊更加豐富。

　　聯(lián)合國積極促進教育工作。通用素質(zhì)(文化;文化;;文學(xué))是它的一個重要目標。世界上每一個孩子都應(yīng)該知道如何讀和寫。聯(lián)合國還參與成人的職業(yè)培訓(xùn)。信息技術(shù)的時代要求新的工作技能。聯(lián)合國與繼續(xù)教育在世界各地的設(shè)計所以工人并不排除在就業(yè)市場。

　　聯(lián)合國已經(jīng)起到了作用,根除天花、脊髓灰質(zhì)炎疫苗和艾滋病意識——設(shè)計也從減少這些疾病的發(fā)病率,在這些領(lǐng)域有很多工作要做。

　　聯(lián)合國的工作是未知的和被低估(2,1,不正確的評價尚未充分重視)。如果我們想生活在一個和平的世界,每個孩子都可以上學(xué),每個公民都有獲得衛(wèi)生保健,我們需要支持聯(lián)合國的工作。我們需要認識到它的重要性,它的生日。
