為了緩解夫妻之間因?yàn)橐粫r沖動草率離婚的現(xiàn)狀，浙江省慈溪市民政局4月出臺了“預(yù)約離婚登記制度”。三個月多過去了，約有40%預(yù)約離婚的夫妻最終沒有辦離婚手續(xù)。

Couples are told tomake an appointment at least seven days after they file for a porce. More than 40 percent of those who came to the bureau to get a porce in April, May and June didn't return for their final appointments.
提出離婚的夫妻被告知要辦理至少7天以后的.預(yù)約登記。4月到6月期間辦理預(yù)約的夫妻有40%最終都沒有來辦理離婚登記。
Make an appointment就是“預(yù)約”，這里的“離婚預(yù)約”就是porce appointment�！芭c某人預(yù)約”則可用make/fix an appointment with somebody來表示。例如：I made an appointment with my dentist for 4 pm today. (我今天下午四點(diǎn)約好要去看牙。)
過去，兩個人不管結(jié)婚還是離婚都需要各自的單位出具letters of introduction(介紹信)，civil affairs bureau(民政局)才會給辦理marriage/porce registration(結(jié)婚/離婚登記)。如今，很多城市都已經(jīng)simplify the porce procedure(簡化離婚程序)，getting a porce on impulse(沖動離婚)的情況也屢見不鮮。離婚后又“復(fù)婚”可以用remarry someone或restore a marriage來表示。
