We Do Need English 我們需要英語(yǔ)
Recently, Beijing Education Department has announced that the full mark of English in the college entrance examination in2016 will be 100 points, which has dropped 50 points from previous years. While the Chinese will be 180 points, the mathematics remains the same, still 150points. After the news has been exploded, this policy has caused great attention among the public. Some people even wonder: do we still need English as before? And the status of English still remains the same in China? Well, asfar as I am concern, English still an indispensable part of our daily lives.
最近，北京市教育局宣布2016年的高考英語(yǔ)總分將為100分，較之前的150分下降了50分。而語(yǔ)文將提高到180分，數(shù)學(xué)保持不變。此消息一出，就引起了社會(huì)的極大關(guān)注。有人甚至問(wèn)到：我們還像過(guò)去那樣需要英語(yǔ)嗎？英語(yǔ)在中國(guó)的地位是否保持不變？在我看來(lái)，英語(yǔ)始終在我們的生活中是不可缺的一部分。
Firstly, English language is of crucial important in international cooperation and exchange. In this competitive world,no country can survive without any other contact with other countries. And through out all the interactions, English, as a global language, is the bridgefor us to communicate with other people who from different culture, different countries. Two thirds of the world trade is conducted in English. In order to perform our duties and enjoy our rights as a significant member of WTO, we doneed English by all means.
英語(yǔ)在國(guó)際合作與交流中有著重要作用。在這個(gè)充滿競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的世界里，每個(gè)國(guó)家都要與其他國(guó)家進(jìn)行交流溝通，免得就不能生存。而英語(yǔ)，作為全球通用的語(yǔ)言，起到了橋梁的作用，幫助不同文化背景的人們順利溝通。世界上三分之二的貿(mào)易用英語(yǔ)完成。為了更好的享受和履行我們?cè)趪?guó)際貿(mào)易組織的權(quán)利和義務(wù)，我們無(wú)論如何都需要英語(yǔ)。
Secondly, English is compulsory inelementary, secondary and further education. One has to pass the English tests to get his certifications. Although we don’t need English so much in our daily lives, when we turn on the computer, listen to the radio, we may find English is everywhere. So, it’s quite necessary for all of us to master a foreign language. Even in the developed countries, students are required tolearn at least one foreign language. And learning English makes contributions to one’s development to some extent.
其二，英語(yǔ)在小學(xué)、初中、高等教育中都是必修語(yǔ)言。只有通過(guò)了英語(yǔ)考試，才能拿到畢業(yè)證書。雖然在日常生活中我們不怎么用到英語(yǔ)，但是當(dāng)我們打開電腦，收聽錄音，我們就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)英語(yǔ)無(wú)處不在。所以，掌握一門外語(yǔ)很重要。即使在發(fā)達(dá)國(guó)家，每個(gè)學(xué)生都會(huì)要求學(xué)至少一門外語(yǔ)。英語(yǔ)也為個(gè)人發(fā)展做出一定得貢獻(xiàn)。
Although the English marks of college entrance examination will drop to 100, we still need English in our daily lives. With the rapid development of economic and cultural globalization,learning English is still the tendency for the young generations. It’s not only the tool for people to communicate, but also the golden key to get personal development.
雖然高考英語(yǔ)總分會(huì)降為100分，但在日常生活中，我們還是需要英語(yǔ)。隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的快速發(fā)展和文化的全球化，學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)依舊是年輕一代的趨勢(shì)。英語(yǔ)不光光是人們用來(lái)交流的工具，也是個(gè)人發(fā)展的金鑰匙。

I did really well in English. That is something I've always enjoyed. My interest in English started when I was 6. My father bought me a CD. It was a cartoon film in English. Though I didn't understand it, I could imagine every drawing in the cartoon, and I guessed what the story was about. At the same time I also dreamed I could speak English one day. How wonderful it would be! So as I started to learn English at school, I made up my mind to study hard at it. English learning has brought me enjoyment and improved my skills as well.

You can speak English with others. It will help you to improve. Last, you can watch English movies or listen to English songs. It is funny and helpful. Anyway, you should work very hard.

learning English 學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)
English is one of my best subjects and I started learning English when I was ten years old. But at the very beginning，listening seemed a little difficult for me. So I have been doing a lot of listening practice，such as listening to tapes，watching English TV programs. And I found it really helpful. In fact，there are some more helpful ways to learn English well. For example，I enjoy singing English songs and I want to join an English club or find a pen pal from English-speaking countries. I believe that nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it。

An English Class 一節(jié)英語(yǔ)課
We got the news before the English class that some foreign teachers from a middle school in New York would visit our class. We felt excited and nervous.
The bell rang and the foreign teachers came into the classroom. They spoke to us in English one by one. They spoke English clearly and slowly. A woman teacher came to my desk, with a smile on her face. "Hello! Nice to meet you! "she said friendly. I answered her. Then she asked me some simple questions. We talked With each other for a while. "Your English is very good,"she said. I thanked her and felt very happy. Then I decided to study English harder than before.
