　　教學內(nèi)容：

　　Unit 2 New York is in the east of America.

　　學習任務：

　　Where is New York? It’s here, in the east.

　　教學功能：

　　講述某個地方的地理位置和相關的基本信息。

　　運用任務：

　　兩人合作，描述各省所在的方位，

　　教學過程：

　　一、熱身復習

　　老師出示一張中國地圖并進行介紹：This is a map of China. I’m from Beijing. It’s in the north of China.然后向學生提問：Where are you from/ Where is your uncle from? Where is your pen friend from?

　　二、任務呈現(xiàn)與課文導入

　　老師出示Simon的圖片，向學生提問：Who is he? 學生回答：He’s Simon. He’s Daming’s cousin.再問：Where is he from?學生回答：He’s from New York, America.

　　出示美國地圖并向學生提問：This is a map of America. Can you find New York?引導學生在地圖上找到紐約的位置。

　　三、課文教學

　　在地圖上標注east, south, west, north,幫助學生復習這些單詞，并注意糾正他們的發(fā)音。老師領讀后，根據(jù)口令做動作，例如

　　Please turn to north. Please turn to South. Please turn to east Please turn to west.

　　老師放錄音，學生邊聽邊看SB2Unit 2活動1的地圖，把錄音中提到的美國城市和國家名稱寫在黑板上。再放錄音，請學生跟讀。

　　通過問答展現(xiàn)句型Where is New York? It’s in the east of America. What about San Francisco? It’s in the west of America.

　　學生們掌握本語言點后，老師教授第二種位置表達法。老師說：”Where is Canada? It’s north of America. Where is Mexico? It’s south of America.引導學生發(fā)現(xiàn)這種表達與第一種表達法不同。因為加拿大和墨西哥在美國領土以外，所以表達方法不同。

　　鼓勵學生在完成SB Unit2活動1的基礎上完成AB Unit2練習

　　四、課文學習

　　Sb Unit2活動4.出示美國國旗，請學生邊聽邊看，熟悉韻詩的內(nèi)容。然后向學生講解他們不理解的內(nèi)容，如單詞Tennessee,再放錄音，學生跟讀。掌握Chant后，可以全班一起完成AB Unit2練習3.再聽錄音，根據(jù)錄音判斷練習中陳述是否正確。

　　課后作業(yè)：

　　SB Unit2活動3聽錄音模仿語音語調(diào)，特別注意句子中的重音部分。

　　板書設計：

　　Unit 2 New York is in the east of America.

　　Where is New York? It’s here, in the east.
